WE NEED COACHES TO RUN OUR PROGRAMS!!!! As a reference, last season we needed 55 coaches.  If we do not have them, we can not run them. All coaches are volunteers and any level of soccer experience is welcomed. If you are interested in coaching please start by having your PA State Police background check and PA Child Abuse check completed. 

For anyone coaching U/9 and older teams, US Soccer and EPYSA requires further online trainings and clearances to coach. 

Welcome to Oley Valley Youth League Soccer! We are here to give our young athletes the opportunity to play the world's most popular game. We also strive to develop/refine skills not only related to soccer, but in life itself. We build fitness, teamwork, discipline, dedication, and create lasting friendships that our young athletes will be able to take with them into their daily life. 

The Oley Valley Youth Soccer League is honored to be able to hold both a Fall and a Spring season. Please note that the Fall season registration is APRIL/MAY and Spring season registration is in DECEMBER. This will be done on our Sports Engine website with link posted on ovyl.org.

Welcome to the 2026 Spring Soccer Season! Registration will be for U/9 - U13 participants only.

If you have not played spring soccer before, it is much more relaxed than fall. There is only one practice per week (on Friday's) and six games usually beginning in late March and ending in mid May.  Registration will close on Saturday January 10, 2025. Sign ups after this date will need a password and are based on availability. 

Coaches: We will need new coaches this Spring! Spring soccer is VERY laid back and a great way to jump into coaching. Please consider signing up and help your kids grow. 

Registration costs are applied by the youth league in order to pay for operating and playing expenses, such as, but not limited to: Reading-Berks Junior Soccer League registration costs (or other leagues that are utilized by teams), Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer registration costs, US Youth Soccer dues, field costs (mowing, lining), referee fees, equipment costs and insurance.  These fees DO NOT cover any tournaments teams may attend. 

As a reminder, the youth league does not receive any tax payer dollars or government funds. We are fully funded by our registrations and fundraisers.  

Our u6/8 teams will be given a jersey as part of their registration. It is recommended that players also have black shorts and black socks but these are not required. 

Our u/9 teams and above will be using the same uniform as we have been using for the past few seasons.  If you do not need to purchase another uniform, you do not need to. New players (THIS IS ANYONE WHO HAS NOT PLAYED U/9 OR ABOVE) will need to go to Sneaker Villa in Exeter to get fitted and pay for their uniforms which will about $55.  Long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts are also available to purchase, but not required. More information about ordering uniforms will be sent out after registration closes.

The 2025-2026 soccer season will be the last season in which teams will be created based on BIRTH YEAR. 

US Soccer has changed their policy and starting the 2026-2027 season, players age group will be based (for the most part) on their grade. The cycle will run from August 1 - July 31st.  (These dates are still subject to change until finalized by USYS Soccer) 

More information about this will be forthcoming as we get closer to implementation. 

Games for our U/9 and older teams will begin the weekend after Labor Day and end mid- November.  Games are on Saturday's (10AM and later) and/or Sunday's (1PM or later)

We also will be trying to schedule a pre-season games for each age group as we did last year. This will be a "warm-up" game and will not count in the regular season record. We also will complete in the Wilson Fall Classic over Columbus Day Weekend (October 11-12, 2025). The Wilson Fall Classic is an additional cost if children would like to participate.
