OVYL Mission Statement

The Oley Valley Youth League is organized to promote, develop and supervise the participation by persons who reside within the Oley Valley School District in programs of youth activities, particularly organized sports. The OVYL strives to assist members and participants in developing mentally, socially and physically and thereby developing qualities of good citizenship and sportsmanship. Encompassed in these qualities are self-confidence and the willingness to learn the value of self-esteem, self-confidence, team play and physical fitness. The importance of winning shall be de-emphasized in favor of the joy of participation until the upper levels of the various sports.

Sport Registrations

2025 Fall Soccer Registration

If your player is NEW to travel ( 2017-2018 birth year or older) please have a head shot photo and a copy of the player's birth certificate stored on your computer and ready to upload. This is required by RBJSL and EPYSA.  Players who participated in travel teams previously, will NOT need to upload it again.

For this season, divisions are based on the birth year of the player.  This is determined by US Youth Soccer - not the youth league. 

  • U6 (2020/2021) - $105
  • U8 (2018/2019) - $105
  • U9 (2017 - travel) - $165 ($190 starting May 19)
  • U10 (2016 - travel) - $165 ($190 starting May 19)
  • U11 (2015 - travel) - $185 ($210 starting May 19)
  • U12 (2014 - travel) - $185 ($210 starting May 19
  • U13 (2013 0 travel) - $185 ($220 starting May 19)

Practice for u6/8 start in late August and will be on Monday/Wednesday from 6-7p at the youth league

Practice for u/9 and older will begin mid-August and will be scheduled by the coaches (either M/W or T/Th). Games will be on Saturday or Sunday with some teams choosing to participate in extra tournaments. 

Fall Field Hockey

Please read the registration information carefully before completing sign up. Registration is open to athletes entering grades 1st through 6th for 2025-2026 the School Year (current grades KG-5).  Please register the grade your daughter will be entering in August 2026.

2025 OVSD Player Registration Fee:  There is a $25 discount for registration completed before May 26, 2024.

  • Grades 1-2:   $135 ($110 with Early Bird Discount Applied)
  • Grades 3-6:   $160 ($135 with Early Bird Discount Applied)

Out of District Players:  If you reside outside of the OVSD DO NOT complete the online registration. Please email the following information to: ovylhockey@gmail.com (with Subject line “Out of District Player”):

  1. Player's Full Name
  2. Grade entering in Fall 2025
  3. School attended
  4. Parent Name and contact information.  

Out of District Registrations are subject to the full price (no early registration discount can be applied)

OVYL Staff Registration

Please register below if you are a coach, assistant coach, team parent, or board member.

If you have already registered and need to update your registration you may do so through your SportsEngine profile.

Be sure to follow up by sending the Vice President an email with an attachment(s) of your PA Child Abuse Clearances and PA State Police Clearance. These are free to obtain as volunteers.
