OVYL Mission Statement

The Oley Valley Youth League is organized to promote, develop and supervise the participation by persons who reside within the Oley Valley School District in programs of youth activities, particularly organized sports. The OVYL strives to assist members and participants in developing mentally, socially and physically and thereby developing qualities of good citizenship and sportsmanship. Encompassed in these qualities are self-confidence and the willingness to learn the value of self-esteem, self-confidence, team play and physical fitness. The importance of winning shall be de-emphasized in favor of the joy of participation until the upper levels of the various sports.

2024 Cornhole Tournament

Break out your best bags and get ready to toss your way to victory. It's finally time to sign up for the annual Cornhole tournament on Saturday May 11, 2024 at the Oley Valley Youth League. Registration and practice starts at 9:00, Tournament Starts at 10.

Sport Registrations

2024 Fall Field Hockey Registration

We are excited to open registration for the 2024 fall field hockey season. Please read the registration information carefully before completing sign up. Registration is open to athletes entering grades 1st through 6th for 2024-2025 the School Year (current grades KG-5). Please register the grade your daughter will be entering in August 2024.

2024 OVSD Player Registration Fee: There is a $25 discount for registration completed before May 26, 2024.

Grades 1-2: $130 ($105 with Early Bird Discount Applied)
Grades 3-6: $155 ($130 with Early Bird Discount Applied)

Out of District Players: If you reside outside of the OVSD DO NOT complete the online registration. Please email the following information to: ovylhockey@gmail.com (with Subject line “Out of District Player”):

Summer U14 Girls Softball League

Keep playing into the summer and register your daughter for our summer U14 softball team. Players should be in grades 6th to 8th (as of May 1) and be at least 12 years old. Players must be 14 years old or younger as of January 1, 2025.

Cost: $200. A $25 discount will be automatically applied to registrations completed before April 30. Registration closes May 15.

League starts the 3rd week of June and details will be shared via email. Contact the softball commissioner with any questions.

2024 Fall Soccer Registration

We are excited to open registration for the 2024 fall soccer season. Please read the registration information carefully, including information about our U/13 (2012 birth year) age group, before completing sign up. Registration is open to athletes born between 2012-2020. Below is the chart breaking down birth year, age group, and cost for this season.

Registration will open on April 15, 2024. The discount period ($25) will end on May 19, 2024. After that time, the price will increase by $25 and a password will be required for registration if room is available.
